"What's happening this night?" he asked, clearly enjoying the sight of her flushed and embarrassed face.



Eira shot him an annoyed glare. "You dare say you don't know what I'm talking about?" she snapped.



He smirked. "Why would I bother myself touching a mere human who can't even keep up with my pace?" he said mockingly, stepping out of the bedroom and throwing four casual words over his shoulder—



"Ain't sleeping here tonight."



With that, the door closed.
