Marriage preparations

The grand event room of the luxurious Rodyricy Hotel was transformed into a breathtakingly elegant oasis for the highly anticipated wedding of Regina Gray and Damian Harrison.

The crème de la crème of society had gathered to witness the union of these two esteemed families, and the decorations did not disappoint.

As guests entered the ballroom, they were greeted by a stunning floral installation that seemed to float above the entrance. Delicate white petals and lush greenery cascaded down from the ceiling, creating a whimsical and romantic ambiance.

The aisle was lined with slender candelabras, adorned with intricate crystals that refracted the soft glow of the candles, casting a warm, ethereal light on the proceedings.

The candelabras were interspersed with elegant glass vases filled with exotic orchids and calla lilies, their pure white blooms seeming to glow in the soft light.

The altar was a masterpiece of modern design, with a sleek, curved structure that would be sure to embrace the couple when they exchange their vows.

The backdrop was a stunning floral wall, with blooms in shades of ivory, cream, and pale gold, creating a soft, ombre effect that seemed to shimmer and glow in the light.

The reception area was equally impressive, with tables set with fine linens, crystal glassware, and delicate china.

The centerpieces were exquisite, featuring cascading floral arrangements that seemed to spill onto the tables, accompanied by subtle candlelight and delicate silver accents.

Throughout the ballroom, strategically placed mirrors and glass elements added a touch of modernity and sophistication, reflecting the beauty of the decorations and amplifying the sense of luxury and wonder.

Every detail, from the delicate flower petals to the subtle lighting, seemed to have been carefully curated to create an atmosphere of understated opulence and refinement, a true testament to the impeccable taste of the Harrisons.

Regina stood before the mirror, her eyes gazing up at her reflection with a mix of nervousness. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the butterflies fluttering in her stomach.

Her engagement party, a grand celebration hosted by her family and Damian's, was just hours away, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. " I can't believe I'm not doing anything... " She muttered to herself and almost cursed her act of determination few days before she met her father in-law.

As she gazed at her reflection, she scrutinized every detail. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, and her bright green eyes sparkled with a hint of anxiety. Her skin was flawless, thanks to the expert hands of her makeup artist, but she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was amiss.

Regina's hands trembled slightly as she adjusted her dress, a stunning lace gown in a soft, ivory hue. The delicate fabric seemed to shimmer in the light, accentuating her slender figure and making her feel like a princess.

Yet, despite her elegant appearance, she couldn't help but wonder if she was truly ready for this new chapter in her life." Would he even touch me on our wedding night? How will I explain the baby? He'll recognize me, right?"

Her eyes drifted to the diamond necklace adorning her neck, a gift from her mother— How ironic...

The sparkling gemstones seemed to symbolize the commitment she was about to embark on, and Regina's mind raced with thoughts of the future. Could she live up to the expectations of Damian's family? Who cares...

She confirmed her pregnancy a few days ago and since then had been taking precautions. Her friends never showed up either, but she couldn't blame them. Nobody would want to mess with them anyways...

With a gentle sigh, Regina's gaze returned to her reflection. She took another deep breath, this time focusing on the love she shared with Them.

She remembered the way they made her laugh, and the way their presence made her feel safe. Her nervousness began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of determination for the journey ahead.

She Has to achieve her aims no matter what. With the Harrisons name, she could protect her friends too.

" Stop looking at yourself already. You're not that pretty just so you know. They're just marrying you off out of pity. " Sasha rolled her eyes as she watched Regina.

" I'll be taking my leave now, you two! " She pointed out two of the make-up artist who worked on Regina's face. " You're coming with me. I need two maids to stay here with her in this room, the rest of you out!" She instructed and snapped her fingers.

Just as Sasha instructed, she was left alone with two maids alone in her room...

As soon as Sasha left, one of the maid slammed her hand in front of Regina's dressing table, jolting her out of her space out. " What're you thinking? You don't even recognize me, tsk tsk tsk. '"

Regina frowned and turned her head towards the maid who turned out to be Flora wearing a disguise. " I'm here to save you. " She smiled proudly.

" What?! Are you crazy?! " Regina gasped. " What do you think you're doing here? Do you want to get yourself in trouble? "

" Don't worry honey. Have you forgotten who I am?" Flora smiled proudly. " It is I, Flora your bestie. " She raised up her brow proudly with a ' what do you think of that?' look.

" Do you know what hotel this is?! You really aim to get yourself in trouble don't you?" Regina lowered her tone, but her words came out harshly and rough.

" Yes, I do. That's why I didn't bring Athena along. " She replied with a smile." Now there's two hours left before you leave for the main hall."

" Get up, I'm ready to save your life from that monster. " Flora sounded a little bit rushy due to the fear that someone might come in, and catch her.

Flora's mastery of the hotel's camera angles and security count is more of a amateur skill, born out of her determination to help her friend escape. She has likely spent hours observing the hotel's security measures, studying the camera placements and timing the guards' rounds.

Flora's talent for observation and attention to detail allows her to navigate the hotel's security system with ease. She knows exactly which cameras to avoid, which doors to take, and when to move undetected. Her knowledge is not based on formal training, but rather on her natural aptitude and resourcefulness.

She initially thought she'd be needing to master that of their house the last time she was there, maybe that was where they'd be staying for her bridal dress up. She had mastered the security of their house the last time they were caught.

Despite not being a professional, Flora's skills are impressive, and she would them to help her friend escape from the wedding. Her actions are driven by loyalty and a desire to protect her friend, rather than any formal training or obligation.

" Flora, you're doing no such thing. I just can't take such risk. " Regina replied her with a soft exhale.

" I had a feeling you'd chicken out, but what if I told you a something you might have not realized by now. " Flora replied and started to change into a new disguise.

" Regina, you might be pregnant. " Flora revealed this with a soft exhale. " I know that might have come as a shock, but trust me it's true. "

." I know that already. " Regina replied with a sad smile causing Flora to gasp a little. She knew?!

"And I think I know who the father of the baby is. "
