Pre - Big day.

It had been four days since Aiden entered his new life, and now, being Sunday, he had a day left before he resumed school and tried to complete his monthly task, thereby securing his life.

On a day as such, one would think that he would be bothered about getting prepared for his first day in a prestigious college where he was labeled as an entitled kid by the teachers, a charming prince by the ladies, a bully by the students and a Lord by those he flocked with.

Well…Aiden wasn't in the least bit bothered about that, at least for now. Instead, he tagged the day as 'Research' and what would that research be?

"I…I.. can't…b... believe his father is even one generous man. How then did Aiden turn out to be such a tard I've been seeing in his memories?!"

Aiden had been stuck up on learning more about the Smith family, especially not from the memories he inherited but rather from those posted online, though one will question their credibility.

He had spent quite a few hours on it since he woke up and he was starting to believe that the original owner of the body - Aiden was adopted.

The Smith family, specifically Mark Smith, was renowned for being the wealthiest in California, but his net worth wasn't the most notable aspect of his character. Rather, it was his attitude, behavior, and personality that truly set him apart.

Mark Smith was an extraordinary philanthropist, dedicating his life to giving back to the community. While many would lament about government corruption and the country's underdevelopment due to poverty, Mark Smith would counterbalance this darkness with his generosity.

He would donate and reach out to those in need, his good deeds potentially earning him a second life or eternity, if he so desired.

These pieced together could finally make Aiden believe the systems they both had. A lifesaving system - one which they thought brought their son to life - well, it did save something - bringing him out of coma or perhaps making sure the surgery - the transmission of their souls successful.

Aiden wasn't done yet, he was still hell bent, searching and digging into the articles to see if any other information could be gotten but then his stomach grumbled, announcing of its displeasures.

"I should head to eat…" he muttered as he diverted his eyes from his screen for a minute.

He scanned his eyes through his room and to his clothes that were currently thrown shrewdly on the floor. His room was a mess, something he didn't like but well, with how tired he was yesterday, he could care less.

He rose from his bed and started to pick the clothes. After picking them up, his eyes met a basket which he assumed to be used for storing dirty clothes and so he dropped it there.

Done with that, he moved around the room a bit and put some things in order before entering the toilet.

The toilet was grand and majestic. Since he had seen it the first time, he didn't bother wasting much time on admiring the place.

He latched his hand onto the toothbrush and paste, applied a little paste to the brush and started brushing his teeth. He left the toilet after he was done brushing.

Aiden walked down the stair that led to the sitting room where the dining area is located. As he got there, he saw Mark and Juliana busy with their things, respectively.

Mark could be seen with a newspaper which he turned with every passing minute and Juliana was in the kitchen with the maid helping out with the food.

Aiden stayed where he was, observing them, before he was pulled out of his reverie by the call of his name.

"Aiden!" He heard the voice of his mom call him, a hint of surprise in her tone. She looked at him, her eyes widening slightly as if she hadn't expected to see him there.

"What are you doing at home?" she asked, a question that implied she thought he should be elsewhere.

Aiden hesitated, caught off guard. "I, uh, came home to sleep," he said, trying to cover his tracks.

Juliana raised an eyebrow. "I didn't know you were back. But never mind, at least you're safe."

Aiden nodded, relieved to move past the awkward moment. "So, what's cooking? I'm starving."

Juliana smiled, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "You rarely eat with us, Aiden. It's nice to see you taking an interest."

Aiden chuckled, trying to deflect her attention. "Yeah, well, I guess I've changed for the better."

He glanced at Mark, who remained engrossed in his newspaper. "How about Dad? How is he doing?"

Ever since Aiden entered his new body, he noticed how Mark behaved to him. It made him believe that the father and son didn't really share a good relationship with each other.

"Dear, just leave him alone. That's how both of you are and you never really cared about him so he just stayed in his lane."

"So, it's Aiden that caused it? No wonder his personality is a stark contrast to his dad's own. When his dad is the lover of all the citizens and he's a prude…" Aiden muttered as he stared at the old soul still immersed in his newspaper.

He requested for his daily tasks and it showed as thus;

[Daily tasks

Make a personal trip and fall (Reward: 50 EXPs, 500 Credits) Pending 4 days ago.

Feed in your demonic form (Reward: 50 EXPs, 500 Credits) ]

"Not again.." Aiden facepalmed as he checked his daily task for the day.

It was a sunday, one of the reasons why the whole family was present. Mrs Juliana on days like that always made sure that the family enjoyed a meal together and that was why she made sure to start cooking towards afternoon time because she believed her son who went out to have fun with his friend would be back before then.

"So, how do you find the car?" Juliana directed the question to her son but then noticed that he didn't seem to be around.

"Aiden…Aiden..Aiden.." She called his name repeatedly and he only managed to get him on the third try.

"Yes? Did you say something? I'm sorry, I didn't get it." Aiden asked as he finally got called back.

He had been immersed in his thoughts, thinking about how he was going to make someone trip and fall and also feed in his demon form.

Actually, that wasn't what made him so strung up. Rather, he was thinking about how he was going to make use of one of their maids!
