CHAPTER 16 I Can Hear You

Kassandra's POV

The moment I opened my eyes, my insides were already panicking. I remembered how I fell asleep inside the elevator last night when Monica sprayed something on a hanky before she covered it to my face.

And now, as I expected, I am already inside the same bedroom where I was two weeks ago.

"Damn," I cursed.

My head throbs, and my stomach is growling. I never had the chance to eat my dinner last night because I planned on eating in the bar, but I never saw it coming when something like that came up.

The room is still the same as before, except for the bedding. It's in all black now compared to the white ones before.

I stood up and reached my feet on the floor and saw the same furry slippers.

"That son of a bitch," I whispered while holding my stomach.

I was hoping that the door was not locked. Thankfully, it opens, so I hurriedly step outside. I walk through the long hallway until I stop in front of a large painting covered with an acrylic frame.
