Clayden's POV
I cuss under my breath while I am in the middle of working. The constant images of Kassandra's innocent face keep me distracted for the whole hours of working. I left her when she told me rouges deserve second chances.
Just because I allowed Jarred to have it, it doesn't mean each one of them deserves it.
I groaned one more time. "She doesn't know a thing, Clayden, damn it," I whispered to myself while leaning on my swivel chair.
To my annoyance, my hands move and grab the phone on top of my desk, and before I could even protest, I already dialed my own number to call Kassandra.
Damd this wolf. I talked inside my head.
My forehead creases when I dial a number of times, but no one answers her phone. I panicked and called the tower personnel to check on the CCTV to see if Kassandra had left the unit.
"She entered the next unit, Sir." I heard the man say.
