"No, that's not it." I stammered.
"I hope you can feel the genuine concern your sister had for your well-being, as she made it a priority to ensure you are doing alright." He abruptly sliced through my words, his voice dripping with a menacingly low tone that pierced through my heart like a jagged blade. Each syllable he uttered felt like a searing lash, leaving behind a trail of anguish and pain.
I strongly believe that I am not the one who callously disregarded anyone's feelings. I believe it's him who deliberately turns a blind eye to my presence.
"Really," I whispered, my voice barely audible as it slipped through my lips like a delicate breath of wind.
