Solaine's POV
His words washed over me like a gentle breeze, soothing my soul and lifting my spirits. I am constantly gripped by fear when it comes to confronting the harshness of reality. I tremble with fear at the thought of the haunting regret that may consume me once my precious baby emerges into this world. The weight of solitude presses upon my heart, as I prepare to shoulder the immense responsibility that lies ahead.
I feel a sudden surge of nervousness, my throat tightening as I gulp. I can't find the words to respond, so instead, I wrap my arms around him tightly, embracing him as a silent affirmation.
"Thank you," I whispered, my voice barely audible as it danced on the edge of a gentle breeze. His grip on me suddenly loosens, as if his hands have forgotten how to hold on.
"I have a crystal-clear understanding of what it is," he confidently declared. A warm smile spreads across his face as he declares, "I absolutely adore babies."
