"You're my mate?" I felt nervous when Xander spoke those words. His emerald eyes locked into mine, and he ran his fingers through his blond hair - I knew right away, that I was rejected.
"There is no way that we could be mates. You are my sister's boyfriend-" I whispered, bracing myself for his potential rejection.
"Ex-boyfriend, we don't have any connection anymore. She's not my mate, but you are," He corrected me as he crooked a smile.
I gaze into his eyes. "So?"
"I, Xander Blaze Havoc, the Alpha King of the Blue Moon Pack, hereby accept you, Solaine Blake, as my mate and as the Luna of my Pack."
Solaine Blake, initially surprised to find herself mated to Xander Blaze Havoc, the Alpha King of the Blue Moon Pack, finds acceptance from him despite her fears of rejection. 
Their mate bond, however, is short-lived; it shatters when Solaine's sister Selene returns and takes her place as Luna, leaving Solaine heartbroken and marginalized within the pack.
"Tomorrow. Selene will replace your position. I want you to make things right while it's early."
Unknown to Xander, Solaine is carrying his child, a fact overshadowed by Selene's mistreatment. 
The situation complicates further with the arrival of Xander's attractive, younger stepbrother, Axel Zephyr Havoc, who shows a keen interest in Solaine.

The Replaced Luna

　　I gave a slow, deliberate nod, my head bobbing up and down in agreement. "Absolutely, Luna, I can definitely make that happen for you-"


　　"You don't have to put on a mask and pretend right at this moment." she rudely cut me off mid-sentence. *Is there something specific you require? Don't even think about it, because once you start messing with the Alpha, I won't give you what you're after," she added, her voice laced with a warning tone. She knew it quickly, leaving me feeling utterly disoriented and defeated.


　　"Absolutely, without a doubt!" I sat back, lost in thought.


　　"But, Luna, I desperately need to rush to the hospital, to undergo a thorough check-up-"


　　"We've got a goddamn miracle worker." she cut me off.
