CHAPTER 47 You're Correct

  Solaine's POV

For the past three days, I've been imprisoned within the confines of my room, my only solace coming in the cover of darkness when I undergo my extraordinary metamorphosis into a majestic wolf. I remain steadfast in my resolve, impervious to the distractions of others, including Axel, who attempted to engage me in conversation. He would consistently bring me plates of delicious food, and though I graciously accepted his offerings, I made sure to keep him at the doorstep, never allowing him to step foot inside.

I feel terrible. I feel like an utter fool, deserving of nothing less than a severe punishment. I've lost count of the countless times I've made a multitude of regrettable choices. I am consumed by a suffocating sense of cowardice, my heart quivering in my chest as I cower in the shadows, unable to summon the courage to confront the piercing judgments of my fellow pack members.
