With each passing day, my frustration with everyone grows. I despised Xander even more as he continuously viewed me as repulsive, bothersome, and merely a reflection of my sister. He seemed determined to erase my presence, but his resistance was likely due to my sister.
Today, I have to take my baby to the doctor to ensure their well-being. Instead, I head to Caroline's cabin, where the elder resides. I bumped into the door and she opened it effortlessly, without a moment's hesitation.
She has a remarkable ability to quickly recognize and identify me.
"Step inside," she ordered.
I inhaled deeply as I entered and gently shut the door.
"You trust me," she whispered, expressing surprise.
"I don't," I falsely claimed. I am still feeling quite feeble.
A mischievous grin spread across her face. "I'm not sure about that," she sighed.
