"You're my mate?" I felt nervous when Xander spoke those words. His emerald eyes locked into mine, and he ran his fingers through his blond hair - I knew right away, that I was rejected.
"There is no way that we could be mates. You are my sister's boyfriend-" I whispered, bracing myself for his potential rejection.
"Ex-boyfriend, we don't have any connection anymore. She's not my mate, but you are," He corrected me as he crooked a smile.
I gaze into his eyes. "So?"
"I, Xander Blaze Havoc, the Alpha King of the Blue Moon Pack, hereby accept you, Solaine Blake, as my mate and as the Luna of my Pack."
Solaine Blake, initially surprised to find herself mated to Xander Blaze Havoc, the Alpha King of the Blue Moon Pack, finds acceptance from him despite her fears of rejection. 
Their mate bond, however, is short-lived; it shatters when Solaine's sister Selene returns and takes her place as Luna, leaving Solaine heartbroken and marginalized within the pack.

The Replaced Luna

　　Axel emerged from the healer room. I keep my distance from Xander to alleviate any potential awkwardness, as the current state of things between us is far from pleasant.


　　"He appears quite impressive. Most likely due to your actions." Xander said, with a wide smile on his face, which appeared to greatly anger Axel. I shut my eyes and let out a deep breath.


　　"I heard some loud sounds. Does he make you feel uneasy?" Axel interrupted me abruptly, causing Xander's face to swiftly transform.


　　"Wow, that's quite an embarrassing statement." Xander murmured, likely attempting to taunt him.


　　"Xander... Alpha," I pleaded with him, my voice filled with desperation. I simply wish for him to treat Axel with more kindness.


　　Xander glanced in my direction, his brows furrowing slightly. "So, you mentioned that you want to have a conversation with me." His voice is deep and his gaze is fixed solely on Axel.
