"You're my mate?" I felt nervous when Xander spoke those words. His emerald eyes locked into mine, and he ran his fingers through his blond hair - I knew right away, that I was rejected.
"There is no way that we could be mates. You are my sister's boyfriend-" I whispered, bracing myself for his potential rejection.
"Ex-boyfriend, we don't have any connection anymore. She's not my mate, but you are," He corrected me as he crooked a smile.
I gaze into his eyes. "So?"
"I, Xander Blaze Havoc, the Alpha King of the Blue Moon Pack, hereby accept you, Solaine Blake, as my mate and as the Luna of my Pack."
Solaine Blake, initially surprised to find herself mated to Xander Blaze Havoc, the Alpha King of the Blue Moon Pack, finds acceptance from him despite her fears of rejection. 
Their mate bond, however, is short-lived; it shatters when Solaine's sister Selene returns and takes her place as Luna, leaving Solaine heartbroken and marginalized within the pack.
"Tomorrow. Selene will replace your position. I want you to make things right while it's early."
Unknown to Xander, Solaine is carrying his child, a fact overshadowed by Selene's mistreatment. 
The situation complicates further with the arrival of Xander's attractive, younger stepbrother, Axel Zephyr Havoc, who shows a keen interest in Solaine. 
Despite his changed feelings, Xander can't help but feel jealous seeing Solaine and Axel together...

The Replaced Luna

　　She was consumed by anger as Axel approached us, already dressed.


　　"What's going on?" He reached out and gently touched my hand.


　　"It's just an everyday occurrence for my sister," I responded, and Xander gazed at him with such intensity.


　　"Was there something I overlooked?" Selene let out a light laugh. "So, you and him are a thing now?" she asked, chuckling. I'm at a loss for words to respond to that. I refuse to grant her the satisfaction she desires.


　　"What we have is not your concern," Axel replied, gently removing his hand from mine.


　　I gaze at Xander, and his intense gaze back at me seems to beg for my response.


　　"That's correct," I whispered. "What we have is our private affair," I added.


　　Selene chuckles and turns to face Xander. "Can you hear it? It appears to be an ideal math problem. She's my sister, and Axel is your stepbrother." Selene nervously nibbled on her lower lip.


　　"Perhaps we could consider going on a double date-"
