  Xander's offer of a ring is still etched in my mind. I can't even begin to describe how uneasy I feel when I think about it. However, I am certain that I made the correct choice in refusing that ring. I want to make it clear that I haven't forgiven him for what he did to me.

  I am incredibly grateful that he rescued me. I press my body against the corridor wall, shutting my eyes, and my hand comes into contact with my stomach.

  "It's effortless, no need for any contemplation. What you did is correct," Belly said to me, inhaling deeply.

  A smile spread across my face. "Okay," I whispered. "I was never the one..." I murmured, my voice barely audible.

  "No matter the actions taken, no matter his choices - the unbreakable bond between Ludwig and I remains, making it a challenging reality to alter." She exclaimed, expressing her dissatisfaction.
