Solaine
"I want to put an end to my suffering, and it's crucial that you allow me to do so," I declared. "I simply desire to live my peaceful life in solitude-"
"What could possibly be the issue with that?" she interrupted me, her desperation palpable. Her gaze towards me and Xander was intense, as if she had a deep understanding of our situation, and it unsettled me.
Xander's gaze remains fixed on me.
"I suppose that's all," I chuckled. "You guys are finally giving me the freedom to leave." I added as I stroll away from them, making my way down to the pack's first floor. I quickly notice Viola, her eyes widening as she catches sight of me.
"Solaine!" she exclaimed with joy. "Where are you headed?" she inquired.
I gaze downward, overwhelmed by the melancholy realization that once I part ways with her, our paths may never cross again.
"I can't stay with this pack any longer," I informed her. I witnessed the gradual disappearance of joy from her eyes.
