　　Lottie pushed me with all her might just as I was about to fall into the hunters' trap. I was safe, but my foot was broken due to the huge force. The immense pain made me break out in a cold sweat.


　　But I didn't have the spare energy to focus on the pain because Lottie fell into the deep pit while trying to save me.


　　"Lottie!" I screamed, leaning over the hole to look at her.


　　Her forehead hit the hard rock wall of the hole, and blood flowed down her forehead.

　　Lottie fainted soon after. Panic swept over me as I began to cry. I tried to stand up, but the piercing pain made it impossible for me to stand. I started screaming frantically, praying that the pack patrol warriors could hear my cry for help.
