Lottie's POV
"Where are you taking me?" I sighed
"Let's have a meal first."
Lewis drove me to a restaurant, and it seemed like he had planned it. As soon as we arrived, the waiter led us to a reserved private room.
He ordered some dishes that I liked, but because he was sitting across from me, I had no appetite to eat.
"Now you can say whatever it is you wanted to say."
He put down his cutlery and gave me a pitiful look.
"Lottie, why are you being so heartless to me now?"
"If you don't have the information I want, then I'll leave first."
I decisively stood up and started to walk out without any hesitation, but he blocked my way.
"Lottie, can't we sit down peacefully and talk? I admit that I was a jerk, that I was wrong."
His expression was sincere, but I didn't feel his sincerity in his eyes. I wanted to see what he wanted to do.
"Fine, let's talk." I sat back down. He showed a smug expression.
