CHAPTER 4 Uncle?!

　　Lucie was stunned and didn't understand what Ruslan meant by that.

　　The next second, Ruslan had let go of her chin and had her phone in his hand without her realizing it.

　　"Here's my number, it's saved in there now. When I call, answer immediately." Ruslan said as he casually returned her phone to her.

　　Lucie absentmindedly agreed. "Uh- Sure."

　　It didn't matter if she ignored him for a few days. After the banquet, they would have no more relationship.

　　With the matter of having a boyfriend resolved, Lucie had no plans to stay with Ruslan any longer. She said a quick "I have something to do, I'll leave first," and hurriedly left.

　　After finding a man to accompany her to the banquet, Lucie spent the next two days leisurely at home.

　　She had sent the time and address to Ruslan after that day, but he never replied until the day of the banquet.

　　Early that day, Lucie called him, but he didn't answer even after six or seven calls.

　　"Is he still asleep?" Lucie was anxious and continued to call him from home to the banquet.

　　Carolina, dressed in a well-crafted dress and exquisite makeup, walked up to Lucie with a hint of arrogance on her face. She looked around and didn't see anyone else before smirking, "The man you're bringing, you said he is better than Axel. So where is he?"

　　Lucie held her phone tightly with anxiety but remained calm. "He's stuck in traffic. He'll be here soon."

　　Carolina didn't believe Lucie would really bring someone, so she smiled even brighter upon hearing that response. "Then I'll wait here with you."

　　Lucie sneered and walked out of the room. Looking at the nearly full guests outside, her heart sank to the bottom.

　　She had sent him the time and address, but he hadn't replied saying he would arrive on time. Was he lying to her and never intended to come?

　　Where else could she find another man now?

　　Carolina kept an eye on Lucie and looked at her with ridicule. She stood on stage and picked up the microphone, "Today I want to sincearly thank my sister because she found another man to be with, so the Score Family has decided to cancel their engagement. That's why I have the opportunity to become Axel's fiancée."

　　"Thank you to my dear sister and her new boyfriend. Now I would like to invite them on stage to give us their blessings!"

　　As her words fell, the spotlight shone on Lucie, and all eyes were on her.

　　Lucie's face turned pale, and she squeezed her phone tightly in both hands.

　　Carolina deliberately embarrassed her because she knew her boyfriend hadn't shown up!

　　Lucie was filled with anger. She lifted her skirt and stepped on the carpet with her high heels, walking towards the stage. If it was about giving blessings, she could do it alone!

　　Lucie took a deep breath and finally stepped onto the stage. She was about to speak when Axel interrupted her, "So, where's your boyfriend?"

　　"Miss Wyane, someone has delivered something. It's a video for your blessing," a person suddenly walked up holding a box.

　　Carolina looked surprised. "What video?"

　　"I guess it's a surprise from one of your friends. Let's play it!" Axel replied.

　　Lucie glanced at Carolina, and their eyes met. Carolina smirked coldly, and Lucie suddenly had a bad feeling.

　　As she watched the scene in the video, Lucie's eyes widened in surprise, and her heart raced. She clenched her fists in anger.

　　The video showed the scene from that night at the bar when she drunkenly hugged a tall man. They kissed under dim lighting for a while before hugging again. Then the man carried her out.

　　Carolina covered her mouth in surprise and looked at Lucie in disbelief. "Lucie, is that you?"

　　Lucie froze, looking at Carolina's smug expression, she wanted to slap her in the face. But she couldn't, she had a plan to execute, she needed to take back control and call off the engagement in front of everyone!

　　Other guests whispered among themselves after seeing the video, but Lucie took a deep breath to calm herself.

　　Carolina was confident that the video was clear and Lucie couldn't deny it. She wanted to ruin Lucie's reputation. "Isn't that your sister?"

　　"It's her!"

　　Suddenly, the banquet hall doors were pushed open and a magnetic, cool male voice cut off their words. A tall man in a well-tailored suit walked in.

　　"I never thought someone would be so interested in the little games between me and my girlfriend. I'm only a few minutes late, and you all are bullying my girlfriend?"

　　Lucie turned her head quickly to look at him. He had only stood by the door, but his presence commanded everyone's attention.

　　Carolina was shocked. This was Lucie's boyfriend? Impossible! He was far more handsome than Axel and just look at that suit!! Carolina thought despairingly to herself.

　　Lucie's face lit up with a bright smile when she saw him. She ran over to him, holding her yellow dress up. "Darling, you're here."

　　Ruslan raised his eyebrows and smiled at her exquisite face.

　　Lucie felt a little tingling from his gaze but still stood firmly by his side, holding onto his arm.

　　She wore a light yellow chiffon dress that hugged her curves and accentuated her slender waist. Ruslan raised his hand and held onto her waist.

　　Carolina didn't notice Axel's face turning pale next to her. As she looked at Ruslan, she became more and more angry. This man was flawless from head to toe, dazzlingly bright, and impossible to look away from.

　　"Darling, your sister asked us to come up on stage and give her our blessings." Lucie held Ruslan's hand as they walked up to the stage.

　　At that moment, Carolina wanted nothing more than to kick them both off the stage! She had called Lucie up to humiliate her, not to have them model for everyone!

　　Lucie smiled at Axel and exclaimed. "You two are both scum. One slept with your sister's fiancé, and the other slept with his fiancée's sister. You're both truely a match made in heaven. You deserve each other!"

　　"Lucie, you slut! Who are you talking about?" Carolina screamed at Lucie.

　　"Enough!" Axel yelled as he pulled Carolina away forcefully, interrupting her words.

　　Ruslan's gaze was cold as he calmly looked at Axel. Axel was so scared he couldn't even speak properly. "Uncle... Uncle..."

　　Uncle? Everyone thought in shock at the same time.

　　Not only Carolina but even Lucie looked at the man next to her in disbelief.
