ANNA'S POV
When I arrived at the coffee shop, I saw David sitting at a table by the window. He stood up when he saw me and waved. I smiled and waved back as I approached the table.
"Hello again," he said. "It's nice to see you."
"It's nice to see you too," I said as I sat down. "So, what did you want to talk about?"
"Well, as I said on the phone, I want to talk to you about the arrangement I mentioned," David said. "I know it might seem a bit strange, but I really think it could be beneficial for both of us. Can I explain more?"
I nodded, giving him the floor. "Go ahead."
"Okay, so here's the situation," David said. "My grandfather is a very wealthy man, and he's passed away.
"In his will, he's left me a large inheritance, but there's one catch," David said. "In order to inherit his fortune, I need to be married. And I know that's something I'm not ready for. That's where you come in."
I raised an eyebrow, curious to hear more. "What do you mean?" I asked.
