CHAPTER 63 A Wedding Dress

  DAVID'S POV

I knew that I was putting Anna in a tough spot when I accepted that we should go ahead and get married the way my parents wanted.

We had agreed that we wanted my parents to know and everyone else as well so that my grandfather's lawyer would believe us and then hand over my grandfather's inheritance to me.

But I never realized that my actions would cause pain for my family as they are so excited and eager to plan my wedding which isn't real by the way.

I turned and faced Anna after pacing around thinking deeply about how we should do everything so that it wouldn't be too elaborate but simple and nice.

"Anna, I'm sorry that I had to put you in such a difficult position. I didn't have a choice."

  She shook her head.

"No, you had a choice and that's to stick to the decision and let's have a private wedding in New York and then get your grandfather's inheritance and be done with all these charades," she whispered, her tone frustrated.
