CHAPTER 79 My Conflicting Thoughts

  ANNA'S POV

David wasn't happy with the decision and I somehow wasn't as well… but was scared of getting too close and getting my heart broken again.

Just then a waiter walked to our table to take our order.

"What can I get you?" the waiter asked, his voice professional and polite.

"I'll have the eggs benedict," David said, looking at the menu. "And a side of bacon, please."

I looked at the menu, still not sure what I wanted. I had never been very good at making decisions, especially when it came to food. "I'm not sure yet," I said, still looking at the menu.

"Take your time," the waiter said, smiling. "I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order."

I looked at David, and he gave me a reassuring smile. "It's okay," he said, his voice reassuring. "Take your time. It's not a big deal."

I took a deep breath and closed the menu. "You're right," I said, feeling a bit calmer. "I'm being silly."
