CHAPTER 86 A Friend's Advice

  DAVID'S POV

"You're thinking about telling her how you feel?" Pete asked, sounding a bit skeptical. "I mean, I get that you're starting to have real feelings for her, but don't you think it's a little risky?

You're only playing the role of her husband for a short time, and then you'll go back to your normal life. What happens if you tell her how you feel and then she doesn't feel the same way? Or worse, what if she feels the same way and it causes problems for you and her career?

I mean what if someone finds out about your fake relationship? Are you prepared to deal with that?"

My heart sank as I considered his words. I hadn't thought about the potential consequences of admitting my feelings to Anna, and now I wasn't sure what to do. On the one hand, I knew I couldn't keep pretending like I didn't have feelings for her, but on the other hand, I didn't want to ruin the friendship we had. I was caught between a rock and a hard place, and I didn't know what to do.
