CHAPTER 88 The Past Walked In

  ANNA'S POV

Just then, we heard a soft knock on the door and Britt went to check who it was.

"Anna, someone is here to see you," she called out. I got up from the chair and went to check who the person was and saw my driver standing outside holding my purse.

"Oh... I'm so sorry for the inconvenience I have caused you. I hope I didn't stress you too much sir?" I apologized.

My driver smiled and said, "Not at all, ma'am. I'm just happy I could help you out. And please, call me John."

"John, thank you so much. You are truly a lifesaver," I said, smiling at him.

"It's my pleasure, ma'am," he replied. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be waiting for you outside. So when you're ready, you can come out," he said, as he bowed and then left.

Britt closed the door and turned to look at me. "Nice... so you have a driver now hmmmm."
