CHAPTER 19

"You're nothing but a jerk—a big jerk, Terran," I cursed, turning my back to face him. Seeing his calm and unbothered expression only brought more anger to my soul. I didn't matter to him; none of what I was saying mattered to him, and that's why he isn't bothered.

  "You're being unreasonable," He said.

"Unreasonable? Would you have sat down and let it be if your pack was under attack?"

"No one would dare to attack my pack," He replied, full of himself and with a shitty attitude.

"I’m trying my very best to do the right thing; I don’t want this issue to escalate more than it already has."

"Not like you care," I said, cutting him off from his sentence.

"You can say every single thing you want to, but don’t ever doubt the fact that I sincerely care about you," He said.

"You'll be a part of my pack soon, and I care for every single one of my pack members." His voice was louder, and a frown appeared on his face.
