CHAPTER 21

  "I'll have to follow you." General Gabriel said this as Cane and I made our way to the car. I had collected all the information I needed from the bandit and had made sure to keep him locked up, but I wasn't done with him yet. If any urgent matter arises and the Orchid's pack tries to play a funny game with me, he'll be my witness.

   

  I made sure to keep him in a safer, less suspicious place. The Alpha of the Orchid's pack would have gotten the memo about his men being hunted and would do anything to get rid of them without revealing the fact that they came from his pack, so I kept the bandit in a separate, secured place with two well-trained soldiers watching and protecting him.

   

  "I don't need you; I only need a few of your best men," I answered, but he wasn't stopping in his tracks; rather, he only continued to walk behind me, forcing me to stop and turn to him.
