CHAPTER 25

  "How?" I inquired. Terran's hands were firmly clutching mine as he guided me through the spooky castle. I'm still trying to get over the idea that he commanded his way through the council members, making them listen to me and giving them nothing to hold against me.

   

  When I showed them the proof I had gathered, they couldn't disguise the grimace on their faces. They realised they had been crushed and had no choice but to let us walk free with no consequences.

   

  Never have I heard of such a thing happening. Usually, people who enter the haunted castle are severely punished, and the few who turn out to be lucky are still given a punishment one way or another, but Terran and I walked out of their midst without any words against us.

   

  "What do you mean?" he asked, his brows creasing in confusion.

   

  "How did you manage to handle the council?" I asked, still in awe.
