CHAPTER 57

  TERRAN’S POV

   

  I never meant for her to see my anger; hell, no matter how angry I am, it should never have to affect her in any way. I should have done better to contain it to myself, just like I have been doing, but it was too much for me.

   

  I wasn’t calm, and my beast wasn’t satisfied when she came to meet me in the forest. All I wanted was for her to go back to sleep while I calmed my beast, but I should have known that she wouldn’t have listened.

   

  I should have remembered the type of girl I grew to love—the type of girl who is persistent no matter what the circumstance—and Nalani was determined to know the cause of my anger, but I was too upset to bring myself to talk to her.

   

  It took a lot of courage and a lot of pain for me to finally voice out my complaint about Heath to her, but she didn’t take heed to my words and ended up going to meet him again, so where do I start from?
