"Why have you brought her back to the mansion? It's taboo!" The voice persisted: "Why aren't you answering me?" She asked.
"Emelia, you should go back to your room."
"No, I've always listened to you, but this time, I beg to not listen." she groaned, "This time, I need to be your mother and let you know that you've completely lost your mind."
"If I'm seen as a mad man, then so be it."
"Terran, you have no right to act like every choice depends on you. As long as I'm still alive, I will not let you bring this calamity upon my pack and family."
"Enough!" He growled. "That person whom you mention is my wife, and nothing will change that fact. If you're scared of what other people might say or do, then let them come to me." Terran said. Even in my sleep, his voice is remembered.
"If they dare." He added.
His voice brought me out of my sleep, but the moment I gained full consciousness, my eyes sprung open in bafflement.
