"Terran, where are you going?" I yelled at the top of my lungs, calling out his name, but my yells proved abortive. Nothing I was doing was making him stop in his tracks.
Different thoughts scavenged through my mind. Terran had always been referring to me as his wife ever since I returned to the pack; he made mention of it on the new social media account he created. Not only that, but he also instructed the paparazzi to take notes on it.
I had assumed he would accept my proposal, but I never thought that he would turn his back on me and walk away. He didn't turn to look at me; he only kept walking.
Could it be that the title of being his wife and Luna was only for show to the world?
It can't be.
I shouldn't think like that, not now nor ever.
I know Terran, and I trust Terran. There has to be a reason for his sudden reaction. There was a reason why it was worth it.
