NALANI'S POV
"You're grounded, school or not, and you're not allowed to leave this house!" I could hear Terran yelling from the living room. He must be back.
Hastily, I slid my legs into the slippers by the bed and rushed down to meet him. I had heard from Caesar that his house had been the target of the attack, but fortunately the armies were prepared for it and no one was injured.
"But I can't skip school." It was Tatiana's voice; she was protesting against something, but the tone that Terran used in speaking with her was a harsh one; she must have really gotten on his nerves.
What could she have done?
"Then maybe you should have thought of that before bringing a boy into my house; you're lucky I didn't teach him a lesson he would never forget." Terran growled; his words were strict as he cautioned her like a father.
"Terran, I said I was sorry, and we were just studying." Tatiana replied.
