Chapter 27 Celebration

  Olivia's POV

  Perhaps my expression gave him the wrong idea. He looked a bit worried as he frowned at me and asked, "Did Emily affect your mood this badly? How about we go somewhere else to relax?"

  "It's okay, Lucas, there's no need," I smiled and said, "I won't let Emily's presence ruin my mood in this place."

  "After all, she doesn't deserve us wasting our time on even thinking about her," Aria sneered. She always knows exactly what I'm thinking.

  "That's good," Lucas smiled.

  We spent a long time in the art museum before leaving. By the time we left, it was almost dusk. The orange light of the setting sun made Lucas look even more gentle and charming in its dying light.

  "Oh, by the way, Olivia," Lucas opened the car door for me and said, "You've been preparing for various projects recently, right?"

  "Yes," I nodded as I looked across at him after fastening my seatbelt.
