CHAPTER 48 Burn Her Alive

  Cynthia's POV

It had been almost 15 days since Logan had come to see me. He hadn't come since setting out to find a Blood Eagle. I was worried that something had happened to him.

Recently my body was feeling somewhat strange. My skin was itchy, my bones were aching, and my sense of smell was a lot more sensitive. I could smell the damp musty scent of the dungeon. I'm sure I've contracted a strange disease.

I could hear footsteps approaching. Although I couldn't see them, I knew who was coming.

Nancy stood at the door, a wide smile on her face, mockery in her eyes.

"Oh my god...how did our noble Luna Cynthia end up in this miserable dungeon?"

I looked around my cell. To be honest, the cell was much better than the basement of the Silver Bow Pack.

"I thought that you would know after all these years that your words can't hurt me at all."

Her smile froze for a moment then became even brighter.
