CHAPTER 50 A Lycan?

  Cynthia's POV

I looked over at the masked man angrily. I was desperately trying to get myself to move, but I couldn't get past the medication's influence. The veins all over my body were bulging from the effort. My clothes quickly became wet from my sweat.

The fire around me grew bigger and bigger. My anger turned to pure sorrow.

I can't die like this. I can't die being called a Monster. I have to save Logan.

Just as I began to get desperate, a white wolf rushed up to the platform. He ran full pelt toward me and started batting the firewood away from me and into the crowd. The audience began to scatter and trample out the fire. The temperature around me finally began to drop.

He stood in front of me and roared at the people below him. "She is my daughter. I won't let anyone hurt her again!"

  Aiden...

I caught sight of his burnt paw and finally let myself cry. The tears flowed over the wounds on my face making them sting.
