Theo's POV
Bashing the controller in my grip, I felt the fury rise within me as I still couldn't beat this damn boss. Nothing frustrated me more than this game right now.
After failing another time, the game once again got the better of me. I launched the controller across the room and sunk back into the sofa. I needed something to distract me and calm my anger, there was no excuse to get furious over a video game.
If it wasn't so late I would go see Gracie and play games with her, but by now Elsie would have put her to bed, she would be fast asleep. I gazed outside at the night sky through my window, watching the silhouette of the trees lightly sway in the wind. At least the rain had stopped.
It was then I felt an intense pain stab through my head, into my eyes, and down the side of my face. I yelled out as my stomach felt like it was being torn apart. The image of Elsie flooded my mind, and I knew she was in danger.
