I stared blankly at the two figures cuddled up in the center of the hall as a wave of numbness washed over me and I listened to all of the members of the pack congratulating them wholeheartedly.

The Broken Luna's Revenge

　　"Gabriel, this is really upsetting! It's so unfair!"


　　Since returning from the clothing store, Raine had been crying in my arms non-stop and my head was buzzing. Nothing good has happened since Elena had left.


　　Two days ago I had asked Raine to takeover the Luna's position and assume her responsibilities after I had promised her a grand succession ceremony a few days later to let everyone know that the Nightfall Pack had a new Luna.


　　However, I hadn't really expected that the seemingly simple things that Elena had dealt with so efficiently would become such a mess in Raine's hands.


　　She first messed up the list of invited guests so much that several packs who had previously been on good terms with me almost fell out with me over it. Then, at the dinner table, she continuously behaved inappropriately until I put a stop to it and then she would turn to me and look at me with those big eyes of hers.
