"You don't need to be so polite with me, my Mate," Luke said as he touched my face and suddenly put on a serious expression. "What are you going to do about Gabriel? If you want, I can have all of his stores shut down by tomorrow."


I shook my head gently and held onto his hand as I got into the car. "No, even if we do that, people will still think that I'm the one who stole their designs and poisoned Raine."


Luke's brow furrowed and he sat down next to me, lost in thought. Seeing him like this actually made me feel a little more relaxed. I leaned over and poked his face. "Hey, don't worry, everything will be resolved eventually. Just give it a little time."


Luke looked at me for a moment, then suddenly smiled and hugged me, his deep voice ringing in my ear. "You're so charming, my love."


"I have many other qualities you know, not just my charm!" I laughed as I looked at him with a twinkle in my eye.
