CHAPTER 60 Goodnight, My Mate

  Elena's POV

I felt sorry for Luke but couldn't help laughing with Isabelle. My father was very rule-abiding and was strict about social etiquette, he really couldn't stand someone like Luke.

"Then how was it resolved?" I asked. Once my father made up his mind about something, nothing would stop him from doing it. Yet here I was, lying safely in Luke's room.

"Of course, it was resolved by Luke's mother. Luke has a big mouth." Luke's mother quickly arrived and didn't defend her son but instead used my current condition as an excuse to keep my father at Embermoon Pack.

But every time my father came to visit me in a coma, he would scold Luke on the side. My father was always ready to reprimand anyone that he felt fell short of what was expected of them.

When Isabelle was happily speaking, Luke, who had just finished grooming, came in with a gloomy face, evidently having heard our conversation clearly.

"Why didn't you knock!" Isabelle's displeased voice rang out.
