　　Eden looked at me, sensing the gravity of the moment. "What is it, Ellissa? You can tell me anything."


　　I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. "I'm pregnant," I said softly, feeling a sense of relief wash over me as the words left my mouth.


　　Eden's eyes widened in surprise, and I could see the shock on his face. But then his expression softened, and he reached out to take my hand. "Are you joking right now? You ain't serious now, are you?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.


　　I nodded, feeling the tears start to well up in my eyes again. "No, I'm not," I said, my voice stammering.


　　For a moment, there was silence as Eden processed the news. Then he pulled me into a tight embrace, holding me close. "It's okay, Ellissa. We'll figure this out together," he said, his voice soothing.


　　Or maybe he was thinking that I was indeed incapable of giving birth to a baby, more like a werewolf pup.
