CHAPTER 28 Julian's Regret

  Liam's POV

Driving slower than I normally would, the legal speed limit, I watched the Police Car in my rear view mirror. After speeding, I had slowed my pace down until the Cops had stopped following us. The last thing we needed now is to be pulled over.

"I have a question for you," Julian spoke, breaking the tense silence between us. The heat between us in Amara's house seemed to have calmed down somewhat.

"Hmmm?" I asked, my eyes still on the car behind. I felt Julian's eyes on me, almost judgemental of me. I wondered what he was going to ask. My fingers gripped at the steering wheel as my gaze switched from the road ahead, to the Police car behind.
