CHAPTER 63 Trauma's of the Past

  Celeste's POV

I had awoken the next morning in the family home, opening my eyes to the bedroom I used to sleep in as a child. It had been updated somewhat, where a single bed had been all those years ago, now had been replaced with a double. The decor had been updated, but still kept the familiar neutral tones of the previous design.

My Mother had personally decorated my bedroom at the time, and I figured my Father wanted to keep the design intact to honour my Mother's choices. It was yet another fond memory of her from when she was alive.

After making myself breakfast and getting freshened up, the house was incredibly silent, but not in an eerie way, it was a calm atmosphere. I took my breakfast out to the patio to enjoy some morning sun as I let my body find its energy for the day.
