CHAPTER 24

  Bitter And Hurtful Truth.

  THIRD PERSON'S POV:-

Bryan's lips lingered on Natasha's forehead. The musky cologne he was wearing filled Natasha's lungs. She had to bite her lower lip hard enough to contain the moan that was sitting at the tip of her tongue.

Bryan pulled away and covered her body with the comforter on the mattress. "I am going to work for now. Once I get back, we will talk. You get some rest. You are still pretty shaky." He whispered while stroking her head gently. I was staring at him with a shocked look on my face. Butterflies were tickling the insides of my stomach.

Bryan stood up and walked away. Natasha's eyes were staring at the closed door of their bedroom. As if she could still see him walking away.

Natasha's hand made its way toward her forehead. She touched her forehead and a small whimper escaped her lips. It was hot. It felt like she could still feel his lips on her skin. It was crazy how it made her feel.
