CHAPTER 61

  Liability

  NATASHA'S POV:-

We got to the apartment building. We were careful as we went up. Aron locked up all the elevators so no one could get out of the building. My heart was pounding against my rib cage as I was excited to finally see my husband in front of me again. The only elevator working was the one that my team was in. It felt like a decade passed when the elevator door finally opened. He stepped out of the elevator and went toward the penthouse where Bryan kept me.

Joe kicked open the door and we went in. But to our surprise, no one was there at all. The whole place was cleaned. "It looks like Mr Rutherford was right. No one has stepped a foot on here in ages. This place is clean." Joe growled in annoyance and I frowned in confusion. I remembered the penthouse being so dirty. I left it dirty as well.
