Sophia's anger surged through her as she paced back and forth in her apartment. She had just discovered that Caesar had left the city without informing her and was currently with Grace. Betrayal washed over her, making her fit of rage escalate to new heights. Hannah appeared at her doorstep, concern etched across her face.
"Sophia, what's going on? You're throwing a fit in here!" Hannah exclaimed, trying to make her voice heard over Sophia's uproar.
Fury burned in Sophia's eyes as she glared at Hannah. "Instead of being angry, you should be on the first flight to my brother, stop being naive," Hannah said with a frown and walked to the living room.
"How dare you scold me for being naive! This is Caesar's fault, not mine!" she spat out. The thought of being deceived by the man she loved intensified her anger, making her words sting.
Hannah's stern expression shifted, morphing into a mix of frustration and desperation.
