Grace and Aiden were engrossed in a lively conversation, discussing the latest business ventures and sharing a few laughs. The atmosphere was vibrant and Grace couldn't wish for more.
“This partnership just started…we won't fail you,” one of the men said, assuring her, Grace nodded with a smile. She didn't want to let Mr. Russell down. Aiden nodded at her proudly.
“Don't worry gentlemen…you won't regret it,” Aiden said proudly; however, a sudden commotion drew their attention away, causing both Grace and Aiden to twist in their seats with curiosity. To their surprise, standing before them none other than was Caesar's mother, Meredith. Grace's face lit up, seeing the woman after five years. However, the warmth soon vanished when Meredith's expression turned sour.
“Meredith! It's so good to see you. How have you been?” Grace greeted her sincerely. Although Meredith didn't like her for her son.
Meredith's eyes narrowed with disdain as she began to unleash her discontent.
