"You two are wicked," I murmured softly. Chase settled beside us, his fingers trailing lightly along my spine, mapping the curves of my body. His gaze sparkled with admiration, making me feel cherished- he was looking at me with awe, as if I were art and it made me feel something, something very special and new yet full of warmth and butterflies. But I've never been one for overt displays of affection; that's why I refrained from turning to him and seeking a kiss. There was another reason, too- kissing him would undoubtedly lead to more, a loss of control inevitable in their presence.
"Why's that?" Devon asked with a chuckle, "What did we do that made us look wicked to you, huh?" He cupped my face, his hands cupping my cheeks before he placed a kiss on the bridge of my nose, then my cheeks, and finally my lips.
I suppressed my smile.
