Chapter Two

Hearing the rumble of her stomach, Tsuki felt a little pissed off. If she was going to find out what the actual fuck has happened to her, she would have to take some time to get food first. She's not a survivalist, and while she slightly smarter than the average person, she had know idea how to find food.

Pondering, she comes to the conclusion to just start walking in hope of finding something before she starves to death. Just her luck. She surveys her surroundings and simply decides to start walking.

Minutes pass, then an hour passed. Tsuki continued to walk for two hours, her legs growing tired and her stomach protesting once more. She came to a forest about an hour into walking along the beach. Assuming there might be some kind of edible food she'd recognize in the forest, she made her way to it.

But here she is, an hour into the forest and all she has seen is a couple small animals running away. She's not fast or able to craft any weapon, so she simply ignored the animals. Unfortunatly, she had no luck in seeing anything that she could possibly eat.

The sun soon started to set and Tsuki knew she needed to find a place to rest. She couldn't find anything to eat, but hopefully she can get rid of some of her exhaustion with some rest. Not to mention the fact that she's not wearing any shoes. So her feet are really starting to hurt.

After walking for another fifteen minutes looking for a suitable place to rest, Tsuki finally came across a wide tree with moss surrounding its bark. The trunk, splayed out in a sallow slope, with the moss following along, reaching the grassy dirt.

Though its still outside, and definitely not a bed, it could be worse. The soft moss would be a small win for Tsuki, given the current situation she's in. She sits herself down and leans back slinghtly to rest her weary body. Exhaustion and hunger are not the best combination, but she'll make do. It's the the worst thing she's had to deal with.

Tsuki closes her eyes and eventually enters a dreamless sleep. The sun setting and nature finally resting for the night.

….

"Groooaaaaannnn" Tsuki rises in a sluggish manner. The sleep was shit. Now she's starving, tired, in pain, and officially pissed off! With a huff, she stands up, gives a long stretch with a big yawn and looks around her. It is early morning and the sun has slightly risen above the horizon.

With a roll of her shoulders she continues to walk further on. As she treks through the forest, an wave a calmness washes over Tsuki's mind. It's been a while since she's had a chance to feel like this.

In the past she's always been rather chaotic, back when she had friends, she was energetic and silly, never really minding what others thought of her. After the incident in her freshman year, that whole demeanor changed. She when from a bright and silly kid, to a quiet and dull teen who preferred to keep to herself.

She was always on edge, afraid of what should happen if she had the audacity to state her opinion or share a crossing thought. It was always received with malice anyways, so why bother? Now that she doesn't have to face any scorn from others though, she felt at peace, calm. It wasn't something she had felt in a long time. It was nice.

But a calm mind doesn't fill her belly, so she kept waking, hoping to find something that she could possibly eat. The biggest issue with that being she doesn't know where she is so she had no idea what she should and should not eat.

While caught up in her own wayward thoughts, Tsuki almost missed the sound coming from her left. The sound seemed to slowly increase in volume revealing that they were the sound of footsteps. And they were coming right towards her.
