Xuan Shi had just come out of the airport when Nie Guangyi reached out to "hook" him over.
"Little Shizi, come and congratulate your Brother Guangyi."
Nie Guangyi was smug, and if one didn't know better, they might think he had won the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
"I already congratulated you eight hundred times over the phone, is it really necessary to act like you've achieved enlightenment just because you're off the singles' market?"
Xuan Shi was exasperated by Nie Guangyi's unending requests for congratulations.
"Of course it's necessary. After being fed so much dog food by you over the years, shouldn't I stuff you full now that I've got the chance?"
"That really isn't necessary. Anuo and I haven't been reunited for that many years, I suggest you control yourself a bit."
"But, but, the two of you are married now."
"You talk as if you've never been married yourself."
The more smug Nie Guangyi was, the more Xuan Shi enjoyed joking with him.
