Chapter 13: May Cause Some Misunderstanding

Xi Zheng lifted her sleeve and sniffed, catching a hint of alcohol that wasn't very strong, only proving that An Chuyu had a sensitive nose. They were separated by a distance of about three to four steps, and yet she could smell it.

"I didn't drink much," Xi Zheng said, "Just two glasses."

"Excuse me, you're blocking the way," An Chuyu pulled his sleeve aside and scanned her fingerprint.

Just as the elevator doors closed, they slowly reopened, and Zhao Yini entered with a snow-white Samoyed in tow. Both she and her dog were soaked, and upon seeing An Chuyu, she smiled, "Chuyu sister, when did you get back to Beijing? I haven't seen you for a while."

The Samoyed recognized An Chuyu and nuzzled up to her leg. An Chuyu crouched down to pet its head, "I've been back for several days, just busy with other things."
