"Mr. Xi, getting off work so early today?" The lady took off her Bluetooth headset, exuding enthusiasm, her bright smile hanging on her face. If not for the large suitcase blocking Xi Zheng, she could have stepped even closer to him.
Xi Zheng was not close to her, but out of politeness, he nodded.
"I baked a cake in the afternoon, it's not very sweet, would you like to try some? I'll bring it over to you in a bit." The lady calmed her post-workout panting and spoke more clearly and softly, her voice revealing hidden jubilation and eager anticipation.
Xi Zheng immediately felt as if he were facing a great enemy, hairs nearly standing on end, and it took a great deal of self-control not to show malice, only making his tone colder: "No need, thank you."
The lady pursed her lips, apparently not giving up. It was hard to come across him, and she was determined to make more progress so that the encounter wouldn't be in vain: "Mr. Xi, there's a financing plan I'd like to discuss... "
