An Chuyu handed him a skewer of succulent, fatty pork: "Aren't you going to eat? I can't finish this much by myself."
"No thanks." He declined very decisively.
An Chuyu asked, "Are you angry?"
"No."
"I've been honest with you; if you're angry, there's nothing I can do about it." An Chuyu always unconsciously let slip such heartbreaker comments, but then she turned and questioned him again, "What about you, why did you agree to my request? You couldn't have had designs on me from the start, could you? I don't believe it."
Their first meeting wasn't any sort of romantic encounter either. To be honest, looking back, she found the whole scene incredibly awful. She had a major fallout with her dad, ending up crying pitifully, and he stumbled upon her in that state.
