**Uchiha Clan Compound, Naka Shrine**
Uchiha Shisui stood calmly before his clan members, his expression serene as he raised two fingers.
"The Hokage will be here shortly," Shisui announced. "If any of you are dissatisfied, step forward."
"I'll show you why you should trust me."
With that, Shisui turned his back on the assembly and walked toward the entrance of the Naka Shrine.
"What arrogance!" someone muttered.
"Who does he think he is? Challenging us like that!"
"He believes he can defeat us all on his own?"
"Someone needs to put him in his place."
Anger rippled through the group. The Uchiha were a proud clan, and even among themselves, they demanded respect. To be insulted in such a manner, by one of their own, was intolerable.
"How dare you insult us!" one Uchiha member shouted, stepping forward.
Shisui glanced back at the gathering, his expression unchanging. "I don't have time to waste. Come at me all at once."
A dozen Uchiha elites moved forward, their Sharingan gleaming. Among them was Uchiha Yan, known for his hot temper. He sneered at Shisui.
"Ahem... Shisui," the Great Elder spoke up, concern evident in his voice. "These are the elite of the clan, all Jōnin with fully developed Three Tomoe Sharingan. You should reconsider."
The elder's caution was met with silence, as Shisui ignored the warning. Uchiha Yan's eyes narrowed.
"Don't bother, Great Elder," Yan said, stepping forward. "This arrogant fool needs to be taught a lesson. Let me handle him!"
"You're getting too full of yourself, Shisui!" Yan growled. "I'll make sure you regret those words."
The other Uchiha members chuckled at Yan's outburst. Their clan prided itself on its strength and the Sharingan, and they weren't going to let Shisui walk away unchallenged.
"You can't defeat me alone," Shisui responded, a hint of disdain in his voice. "All of you should attack together."
"Snort! I don't need help to deal with you!" Yan's hands formed the familiar hand seals. "Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
A massive fireball surged toward Shisui, the heat intense. But Shisui's response was quick. He unsheathed his short sword, and with one swift slash, the fireball split in two, dissipating harmlessly.
"This... this is Hatake Sakumo's technique!" someone in the crowd gasped, recognizing the famous swordsmanship.
Yan gritted his teeth in frustration. Before he could form another seal, Shisui vanished from sight. In an instant, Shisui reappeared beside him, sword poised at Yan's throat.
"You lost," Shisui said coldly.
"Damn it!" Yan cursed, his hands clenching into fists. Even with the Three Tomoe Sharingan, he had failed to see through Shisui's technique. And worst of all, Shisui hadn't even activated his own Sharingan.
"Like I said," Shisui continued as he withdrew his blade, "time is short. You might as well come at me together."
The remaining Uchiha elites exchanged uneasy glances before stepping forward, their eyes filled with determination.
"You said it yourself, Shisui. Don't blame us for what happens next," one of the Uchiha members growled.
"Even if you're strong, you can't handle all of us at once!" another shouted. "We'll show you the reality of the Uchiha clan!"
With that, the dozen elite Jōnin activated their Sharingan and unleashed a barrage of attacks.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!"
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!"
"Shuriken Jutsu!"
The synchronized assault left no room for escape. The entire area was engulfed in flames, shuriken whistling through the air. Smoke and debris clouded the scene as the attacks collided.
The Great Elder watched with concern, fearing the worst. If Shisui were seriously injured or killed, it would create chaos within the clan.
"Did he get hit?"
"It's impossible to dodge all of that!"
"Shisui couldn't have survived that, could he?"
As whispers spread through the crowd, the smoke began to clear, revealing a dark green skeleton-like figure. Gasps of shock filled the air as the Uchiha members recognized what they were seeing.
"This... this is Susanoo?!"
The appearance of Susanoo meant only one thing—Shisui had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, granting him access to the Uchiha's ultimate defense.
"Now, do you see why I told you to come at me together?" Shisui said, his voice laced with a hint of amusement. The barrage of attacks had left him completely unharmed.
"Now, it's my turn."
With a flicker of chakra, Shisui vanished, using the Body Flicker Technique to create dozens of afterimages. Each image was surrounded by the spectral armor of Susanoo, creating a terrifying scene for the Uchiha members.
"These are just illusions!" someone shouted, trying to reassure the others.
But the truth became apparent when the clones began attacking, each one striking with the force of a real Susanoo. The elite Jōnin struggled to defend themselves, their Sharingan unable to keep up with Shisui's speed and precision.
One by one, the Uchiha members fell, defeated by Shisui's overwhelming power.
---
"How... how is this possible?!" one of the Uchiha members stammered, his voice shaking with disbelief.
"A dozen Elite Jōnin were defeated in such a short time. How is that even possible?" another whispered in awe.
"Look at Shisui... he doesn't even look winded," a third observed. "It's like... he wasn't even trying."
Shisui stood at the center of the shrine grounds, his expression calm and untroubled. Around him, murmurs of shock and disbelief rippled through the Uchiha clan. The elite of their clan—high-ranking Jōnin, skilled in battle—had been rendered powerless before him. The clan members began to question their own perceptions, wondering if they were caught in an illusion.
"As expected of the child who was taken under Hokage-sama's wing," one of the older members murmured, watching Shisui with a newfound respect.
"Such power... it's extraordinary."
The Great Elder, who had initially doubted Shisui, found himself reconsidering his earlier judgments. He had believed Shisui was too arrogant, too bold in his challenge. But now, after seeing him effortlessly defeat Uchiha Yan and the other elite members, the elder realized that Shisui's confidence was well-founded.
Shisui's victory had been swift and decisive, a testament to his strength. And it had not been the hard-fought battle the elder had anticipated.
Shisui turned his gaze across the gathered Uchiha clan members, his eyes sharp and piercing.
"Now, let me ask again," he said, his voice cutting through the silence. "Does anyone else have any objections?"
No one dared meet his gaze. Those who had previously looked down on him now averted their eyes. The aura of power surrounding Shisui was palpable, and the memory of the battle hung heavily in the air.
"Since there are no further objections," Shisui continued, his tone calm but authoritative, "I expect you all to carry out the tasks I assign from now on with complete dedication."
"Yes!" came the unified response, the Uchiha clan members nodding solemnly. They had been skeptical of Shisui, dismissing him as too young and inexperienced to lead them. But after witnessing his power firsthand, they had no choice but to acknowledge his strength. The Uchiha clan, proud as they were, respected power above all else.
Seeing the change in their attitudes, Shisui allowed a small smile to play across his lips. But before he could speak again, the sound of clapping echoed through the shrine grounds. All eyes turned toward the source of the sound, and there, walking toward them, was a man with long, flowing hair, dressed in simple yet elegant clothing.
"Lord Hokage!"
At the sight of the man, the proud Uchiha clan members immediately knelt, their heads bowed low in deference. Even Shisui, who had just displayed such overwhelming power, bent his knee in respect as Senju Takuya approached.
"It seems I missed quite the spectacle," Takuya said with a light smile, his gaze sweeping over the assembled Uchiha. "Rise, all of you."
At his command, the clan members stood, and the atmosphere shifted as the formalities began.
"The clan meeting starts now," Takuya announced, his voice calm yet authoritative. With those words, the Uchiha clan meeting officially commenced.
After Shisui's earlier display, the proceedings went smoothly. Shisui was formally recognized as the new leader of the Uchiha clan, and no one dared to voice any opposition.
Once Shisui took his place as the new clan head, he addressed the gathered members. He spoke with confidence, recounting his experiences and emphasizing his loyalty to the village and the Hokage. Shisui understood that while power could command respect, true leadership required more than just strength. He needed to solidify his political standing within the clan and ensure that they would follow him not just out of fear, but out of loyalty and trust.
"This strength... no wonder he's so powerful at such a young age," one of the Uchiha members whispered as Shisui spoke. "It all makes sense now."
"I was surprised at first," another replied, "but knowing that Shisui was trained by the Hokage himself... it all falls into place."
"I envy him," someone else added. "Imagine being trained by the Hokage from childhood. It's no wonder he's so strong."
"But it also means we won't be isolated from the village," another clan member observed. "Even without Mikoto-sama, our clan has a strong connection to the Hokage."
"Yes, and with Shisui as our leader, our clan's reputation will only grow," another voice chimed in, followed by a chorus of agreement.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with the Uchiha clan members feeling reassured and hopeful for the future. Senju Takuya watched it all with a satisfied expression, pleased with how Shisui had handled the situation. Shisui had proven himself not only as a powerful shinobi but also as a capable leader.
As the Uchiha clan members dispersed, only Shisui and Takuya remained in the vast Naka Shrine.
"Takuya-sama," Shisui said, his voice filled with determination, "I will lead the Uchiha clan with all my strength, following the path you've set for us."
Senju Takuya smiled, placing a hand on Shisui's shoulder. "You've done well, Shisui. But remember, even with the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan, you must be careful. The Mangekyō drains your eye power with each use. When that power is depleted, the Mangekyō will lose its light. It's a cursed power."
Shisui nodded resolutely. "I understand, Takuya-sama. These eyes... you gave me the means to awaken them. Even if I lose my sight, I won't question your decisions."
If it weren't for Takuya and Orochimaru, Shisui knew he would never have awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. He had been alone for most of his life, with only Takuya to guide him.
"Very good," Takuya said. "If you continue to perform well, I'll have Orochimaru turn your eyes into Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan."
A flash of joy appeared on Shisui's face at the promise, though he quickly suppressed it. "I will do everything I can to prove myself, Takuya-sama."
